About Speaker
Bernard is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Hong Kong and Shanghai offices, and a member of the Industrial and Consumer practices. He leads the Digital and Information Technology center of excellence in Hong Kong. With more than 15 years of experience in the executive search and leadership advisory industry, Bernard places senior executives to Asian and international companies across the region. He also works with private equity portfolio companies and various NGOs in the region.
Bernard has a progressive career in executive search and was awarded the “2015 Heidrick & Struggles Associate Principal of the Year in Asia Pacific.” He is the first partner in the Hong Kong office who progressed from the associate level.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Bernard worked at Korn/Ferry International covering multiple sectors including industrial, consumer, technology, and life sciences.

About Speaker
Liza Sze is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Hong Kong office and a member of the Consumer Markets Practice, focusing on retail & apparel, hospitality & leisure, and consumer products. She works with clients on local, regional, and cross-border executive search assignments for c-suite positions and senior functional positions including CFO, HR, sales & marketing, digital, and corporate development. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Liza was with another executive search firm for 16 years where she conducted senior leadership searches for a diverse range of local and multi-national consumer companies as well as PE-funded portfolio companies. She supported clients in delivering strategic leadership hires to achieve organizational transformation and business turnaround. In recent years, Liza has worked closely with consumer clients in delivering their digital transformation journey by identifying and recruiting top-level global digital leaders and advising on their organizational strategies.
Liza started her career in advertising and research agencies and consulted with several key consumer clients on branding and new product launch campaigns in Hong Kong and the region. She has intimate knowledge of the consumer industry and has advised a wide range of clients on branding and market strategies.
